5 Ways to Make Your Valentine’s Day Memorable

Valentine’s Day is dreaded by many men around the nation who run out of ideas on how to make it
unique and memorable for that special someone. Don’t fall into the flowers and candy rut this year – show your sweetheart you care by making some slight alterations in your Valentine’s Day plans.

  1. Make it personal – Buying a card and signing your name isn’t going to cut it if you want to make this Valentine’s memorable! You need to show that you put some effort and thought into this day. Snapfish has a great gift idea that requires 30 minutes of your time and some pictures. For about $20, you can build a personalized calendar just for her. You can even get bonus points for adding in special holidays (her birthday & your anniversary) and quotes just from you! If that isn’t something that your sweetheart will enjoy, browse through the other personalized products they offer! Tip: make it something that will be used frequently by her, like a mug or calendar, so it will be a daily reminder of how thoughtful you really are!
  2. Wow her with your talents – This is your opportunity to show her a different side of you. Weather you can cook, sing, write, or even clean, show her! Again, it just proves that you took time to make this special.
  3. COOK – This is always memorable in my book! It doesn’t have to be elaborate; pizza is a perfect example of this and is hard to mess up! She will be more appreciative and impressed of the time you put into planning than the actual result!
  4. Night full of surprises – Wanna go all out? Plan an entire day or night full of surprises. Use your imagination. What is her favorite place to grab some coffee, favorite bookstore or park? Plan the whole day out and she will be amazed at how well you know her.
  5. Quirky is Cute – It’s okay to be silly! Not silly in the way that makes you look immature and uncaring, but silly in the way that shows you really put some thought into your attempt at making this night special for her.
